Going out... for 4

Yesterday we attempted our first outdoor excursion. Since we had been home all week, Omair and I decided to go out for lunch with the girls.

In the short one and a half hours I had 3 feedings, 2 diaper changes, 3 trips to the bathroom (out of which one was useless because Iman insisted that she couldn't "go") and 1 fussy (almost) 3 year old who refused to eat anything.

Hmmmm...

Let the good times begin!

nice! none of that 40-day nonsense for you then. i'm so glad, it's such an outdated concept and i hate that since this is my first i have to keep my outings to a minimum.
so far it's been two doc's appts and one trip to babyshop.

hina, do write about iman's experiences during pregnancy so I know what to expect.

mona, it was first of ramadan when eesa was born and i took him for all twenty nine taraweehs every night. he wasnt even immunized and 30 months later, alhamdolillah, no probs!

Ummm... I'm in two minds as to whether I should write what I'm tempted to write...

Oh, what the heck, I'm sure you'll see the funny side of it.

You may know that there's a 2-year gap between L's eldest and the twins... and even though more than two decades have passed since they were born, her eldest's jealousy gene is still alive and kicking!

im living in fear that once my babys born i wont be going out at all and that erverything will chnage and i will have no friends left. so its very heartening to know that im being overly dramatic and that life does exist and go on- even after 2 kids :) hope you doing ok!

How well I remember. Good on you for taking them out, though. I'm a firm believer in the little ones being exposed to all sorts of environments from the get-go. It's a pain but it's worth it.
