Baby Fat

Everyone seems to think that it's ok to tell me that I've put on weight. Since when was this acceptable behavior? I thought that politeness requires people to remain quiet. In my case, I have been forced to say "It's just baby fat, and I haven't started working it off yet."

i dont know WHY people think its ok to have weight conversations. I have also had to use the baby fat line- and i hate being put in that situation :S

don't even get me started on this one. ugh.
i hate the fact that there are people who will openly say, oh, you're almost there. gotta get your -x bodypart- in shape and lose a few and you're all done.

Oh geez. Reminds me of the time that someone came up to me at a wedding and said, "When are you going to have that baby?". I smiled sweetly and said, "Three days ago". Although it was worse when I was asked a year later if there was another one on the way. 'Cause there wasn't. I don't know why our bodies suddenly cease to be private things once we've given birth.
